History: https://otherworld.fandom.com/wiki/Jeremy_Danvers

Personality:
Controlling
As the Alpha of the only werewolf Pack in the United States, Jeremy Danvers is naturally dominant. But he takes it to the next level. When one of his pack-mates, Elena, needs to be protected, he sends her back to the city she'd been living in, Toronto, and sends his adopted son Clay with her. Both of them try to talk their way out of it and offer viable alternatives, but his word is law and eventually they give in. Part of this is Jeremy's natural dominance, true, and the natural way of the werewolves, but part of this is Jeremy's insistence that he knows what is best in these kinds of situations.

He extends this control out to the werewolves outside of his Pack as well. Under the Pack's previous leadership, non-Pack werewolves (mutts), were mostly left alone unless they challenged a Pack member directly. Under Jeremy's leadership, he actively rousts mutts and prevents them from having any territory of their own and kills mutts that draw too much attention to themselves. He rationalizes this behavior, telling himself that it's to keep any connections from being drawn to his Pack, but at the same time, he doesn't consider other alternatives.

Intractable
When he was young, Jeremy was somewhat of a revolutionary. His ideas for change brought about a split in the Pack. But once his change, such as the response to mutts, was put into effect, that was the way things stayed. He had a very rigid approach to the world: He cared about his Pack and that was it. His Pack was approached when supernaturals were being kidnapped. This was a large and sudden change, since he'd always believed that werewolves were the only supernatural race out there. While there may have been rumors about other races, that's all they were. Rumors. Jeremy's initial plan was to stay with the group only long enough that they could provide information on the kidnappers. It was only when one of his own was kidnapped that he was forced to join forces until the threat was eliminated.

Another example is when a threat appeared in his literal backyard, he was so slow to reorient his view of what the mutts were willing to do, that it literally cost him the lives of two packmates. For nearly twenty years, the reputation of his son had been such that mutts stayed far away from the Pack and its territory. Jeremy was so secure in that knowledge, that he gave up looking for threats within his territory and instead focused on the mutts outside it. Because he'd grown so used to the status quo, two of his pack members died on two different occasions before he had a chance to regroup and move to protect the few vulnerable members remaining.

Uncommunicative
Even given all of his mistakes, even given that the only members of his Pack left are all but family to him, Jeremy never puts himself in a position where he seeks advice from anyone. While he may listen to what they have to say on a given subject, he doesn't allow himself to be swayed by their opinion. This has a tendency to leave him a bit on the lonely side. He may have come to terms with it, but that doesn't mean he doesn't feel the loss when he sees his son being happy in his relationship.

At times, the joys of being the Alpha of the Pack can turn into burdens as well.

Loyal
But there is one thing you can never call Jeremy Danvers and that is disloyal. He spent years fighting battles for and hiding kills by his father. Even if there was no affection on either side. His reasoning was that he was doing it to protect the Pack, but the sentence for the crimes should have been death. If he'd wanted his father out of the way, he could simply have revealed the extent of the crimes, something he was prepared to do if, and only if, Jeremy himself were harmed.

It's only when he adopts Clayton and the Pack leader dies that things take a turn and even then, when Jeremy receives support from half of the Pack, he refuses to deal with his father. Instead, he offers his father a deal, take half the Pack and go form his own, something his father refuses.

When it comes to the people he actually cares about, there is nothing that Jeremy wouldn't do.

Powers and Abilities:
Werewolf
Hereditary - Werewolves are hereditary and only pass through the male line (except when a male werewolf mates with a female werewolf and then either sex will be a werewolf).

Saliva - A werewolf's saliva is infectious and, when entered into the bloodstream, allows for the possibility of the recipient turning into a werewolf, though the process is difficult and many who undergo it die.

Superhuman strength - Werewolves are considerably stronger than humans and perform incredible feats of strength and generate great amounts of physical force with inhuman ease.

Enhanced wellness - Werewolves possess an innate wellness and immunity to all diseases. In addition, a werewolf's endurance and stamina are heightened, making them far more resilient to damage than normal humans, or even normal wolves. They can also heal and recover with great speed and efficiency, unless poisoned, and will age more gracefully, and live longer than humans. Their advanced rate of healing allows them to recover from minor wounds in as little as two days, despite this werewolves can still suffer fatal wounds in the same manner as human.

Magical resistance - Werewolves possess immunity to certain witch magic, even dark magic, resulting in witches being unable to control their minds or actions without the use of possession, which werewolves can break free from if they possess the willpower and determination. In fact, a werewolf is capable of banishing the one possessing them by finding a way to transform, as the transformation instantly removes the one who possesses them from their body's.

Animal senses - Their senses are heightened likes wolves, however to a far greater degree. Even in their human form, werewolves possess smelling and tracking capabilities far greater than any tracking dog. They also possess tremendous hearing and visual acuity; able to focus in on and perfectly hear a conversation from across a crowded room, and their vision extends into multiple visual spectrums, and allows them to see with perfect visual clarity.

Enhanced mobility - Werewolves in wolf form are shown to be fast as wolves. In their human form, werewolves are also naturally agile and dexterous, commonly having giving them at least some acrobatic ability, and allowing them to perform inhuman acrobatic feats, which they can use in combat.

Kogitsune
Sixth sense - Kogitsune have a sense of the hidden nature of the world. They can, for example, sense when they are in the presence of ghosts. This also expresses in the form of a heightened sense of intuition.

Family sense - Kogitsune have the ability to connect with people they are close to. This happens naturally and allows them to track where that loved one is and get a sense for when they are in danger. That sense can be felt even when there is a great distance separating the two and sometimes comes in the forms of prophetic dreams rather than just a feeling.

Dreamwalking - Kogitsune have the ability to dreamwalk. This allows them to impart information from great distances. The recipient feels as if they're having an actual conversation and retain all memory of the dream when they wake.

Rune magic - Kogitsune have the ability to create runes and impart them with magic. Note: Since Jeremy knows nothing of his heritage, these runes come instinctively. He doesn't know what they do, but he feels compelled to draw them as wards for his friends and family.

Inventory: The Legacy (an old book consisting of generations of Pack lore), a painting of Elena Michaels, a painting of Clay Danvers

Human
Translation - He can speak and translate in over a dozen languages.
Healer - Is a self-taught doctor and can perform procedures up to and including splinting a broken leg.
Artist - Is a professional painter and sketches as a hobby.
Arms - Practices both archery and gun markmanship.
